Sorry, but according to the article these places are also full of illegal drugs and prostitutes, which means they're not relying on licensed businesses to stay around. A Government that was doing its job would be raiding these places, arresting the owners, arresting any felons, and deporting the illegals.
I always thought that dress codes were BS. There's more important things to worry about in school than what kids are wearing. The argument they always use is "it's distracting to other students," sorry but any student that's distracted by someone's clothes is gonna be distracted regardless, it's not the clothes. Actually you wanna talk distraction from the way people dress? What about spirit week? It's distracting for me to wear a sleeveless shirt, but not for people to wear bright green jumpsuits and face paint?Then again I thought most of the rules were BS, public k-12 schools are about as close as you can get to a dictatorship in this country, they can violate any of your rights just because you're at school, actually you don't even have to be at school. I got in trouble a few times coming home from school, and plenty of kids got suspended for fighting off campus when class was out. Judging by the comments above, I'll probably get dugg down for this, but whatever.

Side note, but UFO Hunters blows my mind. I was a complete skeptic until I saw a few episodes. Sure, they expose a fair number of hoaxes, but some of it just seems completely without any rational explanation. If they ever run that show nonstop for a week, my skin is going to meld with my couch..

The Atari 800 was one sweet machine for its day. Until the commodore 64 came out, it was the undisputed leader in multimedia/game technology and Star Raiders was a game that just blew people away! It was a very robust system with a slow, but very powerful BASIC interpreter... The SIO ports on the unit were a precursor to USB.... certainly ahead of its time... It was also the first computer to have dedicated graphics and sound processing chips to relieve the relatively slow CPU... like a modern day 3-D graphics card, only back then, they could only support 2d sprites.?
Cell phones don't work everywhere. I know several people that have landline phones because their cell phone doesn't work at their residence.
