There aren't rampant viruses/worms for Mac OS X.If you read the news, there are sketchy programs - either pirated software or jailbreak type apps - that require t he end user to knowingly install them, despite it being a stupid idea and illegal or a violation of warranty/SLA/etc.They install them and then some accidental or intentional flaw included with the sketch program is exploited, or it does the exploit right then. Classic Trojan horse technique - that's why they are called Trojans.The program the guy down under wrote is not a computer virus. It is a computer worm. It's a "jailbreak worm", specifically. It only attacks the jailbreak iPhones.By the way, there have been Windows mobile viruses out for years. One even cross-infects between MS-Windows PCs and Windows Mobile phones. Those viruses, the user does not have to get a program and install it to get infected - the program goes and gets them!?
