Sorry, new(ish) theory: Still some what photoshopped, but there's a clear explanation. I searched for the zoo in google images, and found this:http://www.australianexplorer.com/tourist_attracti ...featuring this picture: http://national.atdw.com.au/multimedia/tvic/2004_2 ...So it's a fake jeep, there is some sort of Plexiglas between cat and visitors, and the image was manipulated to make it look like they were in the wild. Does that make more sense?.
