It's really not the same as going to a concert though. I mean, sure it would be cool to see a band perform live, but many bands release DVDs for that, so I don't see how a live stream would be much different (other than the fact that you get to see it early). I just really hope concerts doesn't die anytime soon because of things like this..

I've been complaining about this for a while now - politics shouldn't be a team sport. Believe what you believe and vote for the people that come closest to those beliefs regardless of party affiliation.The only time I stray from that is in that I tend to only vote for people that have an actual chance of winning. If there is a guy in the primaries that I agree with 75% and one that I believe in 90%, but the 90% guy is a horrible public speaker, looks funny, and has some personal issues that will make him hard to get elected, then I'll vote for the 75% guy instead. This seems disingenuous to some people, but I'd rather have a good bet on 75% than a bad bet on 90% because the losing bet will give me the guy that I believe in like 5%...which isn't exactly a win for me.All that being said, I've only ever voted democratic, but that is because there hasn't been a viable 3rd party option that is more liberal than the Democrats.
