An update for posterity.It took two trips and a huffy 'tude on my part, but Verizon did replace the broken unit. It has not crashed yet and hopefully that will continue to be the case. The random manifestation of the problems (misc app crashes and full system lockups, reboots and crashes) suggest that there was something deeply broken with the hardware.
And now he has depression!

Umm...you guys are trusting MEMRI?I speak Arabic, and for an organization whose sole goal is to translate stuff like this, they do a real crappy job.For instance, the guy who says "unless he carries a rod on his shoulder" actually says "unless he carries a [small] stick on his shoulder".The rationale behind this is yes, a man is allowed to beat his wife only symbolically. That is to say, a man isn't allowed to use a stick larger than a tooth brush and he can't bend his elbow. Good luck beating someone with that. This is all just propaganda.The other guys talking about wife-beating are talking out of their asses and it's not sanctioned anywhere in Islam to use force more than the symbolic, laughable gesture as mentioned above.Also, let's not act like domestic violence is an Islamic phenomenon. I applaud the women though in the clip who are standing up to the chauvinist pigs.
