Yeah, way to understate something. China's per capita is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH lower than the USA's. It's not even comparable. Their total pollution is higher simply because they have much more people, so that is a completely unfair comparison. There is much more room for improvement from the USA. Not to mention that a lot of the pollution in China is a result of American MNC pressure for them to keep costs down by breaking environmental laws.

It really depends on the hardware. I'll agree that running a lot of processes can slow down the phone, but the Droid has 256MB of RAM (I remember upgrading to 256MB on my desktop, but that was a while ago) and a Cortex A8, so it definitely flies where the G1 chokedI'll agree with battery life, but I'd rather have the choice. Android 1.6 also has a battery visualization which will tell you what has been draining your battery. I can charge my phone at my desk during the day so battery life isn't really a problem for me.
