I too was wondering just what significance state governors could possibly have on national politics unless the party also has that state's legislature under control & some unusual circumstances happen that give the governor control over the fate of congressmen at a national level. (impeachment/removal from office, death, close or recall elections, etc...)Did I miss anything?
The house is in Cheshire, not London.

They're there to learn, and to what degree that statement sounds ridiculous is the degree to which our schools are a mess. The idea that if they don't want to learn you should ignore it seems nonsensical if you believe in the benefits of public education at all.I think that one of the most important developmental lessons is that you don't have to make a point about your individuality 24/7. Be whatever you want, be up front and honest about it, stand up against discrimination... but know how to fit in as needed. You can over-interpret that if you want, call it ***** or whatever, but it's just pragmatism.I'm an atheist, I'm pro-gay-marriage, pro-drug-legalization, pro-prostitution-legalizaion, and I love porn, but I don't make a point of throwing this in the face of everyone I meet either.Cheers.?

Your link doesn't work and I couldn't find it on their website. Link it again and just so I am clear, you're saying the CBO report is that the deficit will decrease due to this bill? Also, please link me to somewhere that says the bill decreases burdens on small business. Because from what I've read, small business right now don't have to provide insurance whereas the bill forces them to or they have to pay fines.

If you'd been keeping up with the anti-Ahmedinejad protests these past months, you'd know that "Allahu Akbar" was a cry of solidarity for the protesters. It's the one thing that the government would have a very difficult time getting anyone to stop saying without looking ridiculous, because the country is officially Islamic. Of course, they tried to do it anyway. |
