They're receiving additional punishment on top of that.And the problem with this isn't just about the worker themselves: if Wal-Mart is encouraging sick people to work by penalizing them if they don't, they're exposing people who go to Wal-Mart to whatever ailment the person has, which spreads the disease if it is contagious.

Actually, you get that whenever you go from one OS to a completely different OS. Moving from XP to Windows 7 is not an upgrade. There is no upgrade path for it. Vista to Windows 7 is a painless upgrade as I can attest to. Moving from XP to Apple involves much more than simply loosing your data. It invloves losing access to most of the application you knew and loved when using XP. Most vendors still don't support the Apple OS and 99% of video game vendors still don't. Since games is one of the major uses people have for computers that is a huge deal. If all you do is browse the web and email then you would be better off with Linux since it is free and you don't have to buy a new computer to use it. If you do a lot more with your computer then jumping to OSX is not an option.!
