Sort of true, Ghostalker. But only sort of.The people who use credit to buy things keep the economy going as long as they can eventually pay off their debts. It is true that buying on credit allows them to buy things earlier than they otherwise would have, and being in debt encourages them to work harder (whether encouraging hard work over quality of life is a good thing is another topic entirely... personally I refuse to be a debt slave).However, when they start buying with credit that they can never be reasonably expected to pay off, they instead simply contribute to asset price bubbles which inevitably come crashing down.So there is a level of credit that is helpful to the economy, and there is a level that is toxic or potentially even fatal to the economy. We've exceeded the toxic level, and we're well on our way to the fatal level with all these bailouts.

It seems dubious that you can get that kind of savings off of such a small investment..
I'd like to point out, that offer and the latest offer were not rejected by the the local TWU. They were rejected by basically one person, who has not allowed any offer to be voted on. I'd also like to point out the TWU did offer to end the strike if SEPTA agreed to binding arbitration. I'd also like to point out, that driving a bus is an extremely skilled job. You need a special license to carry passengers and driving a large city bus on city street during rush hour is not easy.In short you probably know no-one who could step into the role of bus driver tomorrow.!

The modern impact of slavery IS modern racism, sir. It's not a comparison to and it's certainly not a dismisal. My anseters WERE slaves and I will never know my past beyond that of a slave ship. This isn't abstract for me, this is my life, the life of my parents and there parents before them. How dare you lecture me because of a two word preface when you admit that my objections are sound. My intent is crystal clear and you can cover your eyes all you want, we both know that's not going to change. Both rhetorically and as a matter of taste, you are the ignorant one here. Further, why all this towards me and not toward the lead post who very clearly dismissed both reparations and slavery in exactly the way you seem to be against??

lol, wow...I do wipe and I do wash. We had to buy a bidet when we first moved here because we learned they weren't standard in US homes. I'm simply stating that RELATIVELY speaking, the midsection is inherently the smelliest area of any human's body...and there's no denying that. So if they have the tools to detect breathing at a range of 100 feet, you can be sure they have the tools to detect any body odor. Looking at the article again, they do. The range is 50 ft for any human. But I guess maybe not for you guys?

What? Forget the trip to New Zealand, i had everything ready to fly down there with my 2 kids so they could throw some dead rabbits around. We tried it in Miami but i got thrown in jail and i have been seaching where it would be not only aloud but encouraged. Now what will i tell me kids?

Twitterific and Shovebox are good little apps. Although, Twitterific lacks a "retweet" shortcut which is big oversight after 3 major releases. Don't think I'll get much use out of the other apps, though. MacHeist always offers good deals on bundles and free certainly can't be beat.BTW: Good luck getting Hordes of Orcs to work. The registration servers were overloaded all day yesterday after MacRumors.com posted this deal. Having this now show up on Digg won't help any. Oh, and if you open up the registration window, there is no way to get rid of it without a terminal command or logging out.
