You basically defeated the purpose of your argument by making yourself look like just as much of an ignorant tool as the console gamers who won't shut up about how PC gamers need to get over MW2.

You know, I really thought the Republicans would get it after the 2008 election. I thought they'd realize that John McCain might've had a better chance were it not for Palin and her special brand of nuttiness. Apparently I'm a naive idiot, because it looks like instead they've decided that McCain hurt Palin's chances.It's not that people can't get behind the idea of small government, it's that the Republicans wrap up their support of small government in layers of crazy, and time and time again, they fail to deliver on their promises. And it just really baffles me that their continued losses only seem to cause them to run even faster to the right, when in fact their losses are due to the fact that they keep alienating independents and moderates. Heck, I'm not even saying they need to be more liberal, it's just they need to back down on social conservatism. That ***** may have won elections 20 years ago, but times are changing. Maybe we're not there yet, but it's pretty obvious which way the winds are blowing.
