Knowing this, we need to curb greenhouse gas emissions by creating and infrastructure that encourages alternatives, which isn't going to happen by itself overnight. In doing so we reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, which is inevitable. We need to wean ourselves off fossil fuels, not throw our hands up saying that we depend on it so to hell with everything else!"That we are pumping CO2 into out atmosphere is accidental. This group seems to regard CO2 pollution as an entitlement and not a cost to the environment, and that, broadly, is the role of cap & trade/carbon taxing; to enforce an economic view of CO2 pollution.We are sure of what we're doing and why we're doing it. It' snot for global domination, a cash grab, a NWO or the erosion of personal freedoms. It's to preserve the planet for future generations to come.

Don't get me wrong... The droid is a nifty phone, and would be downright revolutionary - if it had come out two years ago and there had never been an iPhone. But there IS an iPhone and it's quite obvious which is the superior product and who is playing catch-up.I also hate AT&T's service. But I can't say I'm a fan of Verizon's policies. Let's not forget that they had the opportunity to carry the iPhone but turned it down because they insisted on fully controlling the branding, interface and price structure on the device. Now they are forced to make concessions in order to offer something - anything - that at least comes close to the iPhone.I lash out against the droid in large part because of the extremely misleading advertising behind it.!

I grew up during the cold war, and the thing that always amazed me is that people never seemed to grasp the power of the current nuclear weapons. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima was 15 kilotons - tiny in comparison to the multi-megaton monsters of which both sides had thousands. Its hard to imagine how disastrous even one of those might have been if dropped on a city.
