| Big government conservatives like Focus on the Family always push the GOP to embrace big government whenever they take power. Here's how it works:1. Republicans gain control based on promises of limited government.2. We get a few years of somewhat limited government, especially if the president is a Democrat.3. We then watch the biggest statists in America -- social conservatives -- demand that the federal government "do something" about every perceived social ill in America.4. We then watch the GOP respond to social con threats by becoming 100% statist. Every time the GOP gains ascendancy, it eventually decides it ought to use the power of the federal government to force "conservative" (in quotes because big government is never conservative) goals.5. We then kick the statists out of power.6. We then watch the GOP at least pretend to believe in small government (many in the coalition will simply wish to limit power of Dems, thus forming an accidental coalition).7. Repeat. |

It wouldn't have had it exclusively if VZW didn't have their head up their ass. They insisted that the iPhone conform to the VZW way of doing things. Apple took a pass. Granted, no one saw the boom that the iPhone would create, so this is hindsight of course. It's helped AT&T tremendously for them to have the iPhone exclusively. |

Yes, because it is misleading abuse of statistics (ex. try pollution per square mile)...Now here is the pollution situation from satellite imagery: http://digg.com/d319L6ZIf your reasoning is correct, US, EU,... should have 4 times greater cloud of pollution over themselves.They don't. Actually, most environmental damage done in US is blown by wind currents from China... So, China and India and Brazil and Mexico and Russia who now make 3/4 of world-wide pollution (and growing), by UN own numbers, should do MORE than US and EU,... to make such treaty fair.

Dress codes exist for a reason, and their purpose is to enforce a sort of discipline which will need to be carried into the workforce...I don't necessarily agree with it, but nor do I agree with some unnecessary employer "suit and tie" dress codes either.
